For over six months, uploading photos to this blog has been nearly impossible due to problems with the webhost (Typepad).
They have politely responded to my inquiries, saying they are "working on it" but have no idea when the problems will be fixed.
I suspect that the answer is never.
Their problems extend beyond difficulties uploading photos. I just discovered that they have not been accepting new accounts since 2020, and are referring customers to a different webhost!
Since trying to post is an exercise in total frustration, I have decided to stop posting to this blog.
Over the next few months I will be considering my options regarding a new web presence (which will involve print sales!) and blog.
When I have decided, I will post here again where to find my new site, and notify by email to everyone on my email list.
I am still persisting in posting bird, travel and tennis photos to my other blog, www.photoabcs.com which you may feel free to visit in the meantime.
I have a backlog of photos from at least twenty corridas from the past two years I am eager to share, so please stay tuned!
Here is a photo of Andrés Roca Rey, photographed at a tienta at the ganadería Huagrahuasi, outside of Latacunga, Ecuador, in November of last year.
Thanks to our host, ganadero, Don José Luis Cobo.
It was my pleasure that day to present Andres with a signed photograph I took of him at La Petatera (Colima, Mexico) in February 2016, the day he cut the first ear of his career.
The photo I gave to him:
I'm told he was thrilled with the photo. So was I!
This will be the last post until I launch a new website or blog. Stay tuned for information where to find it.
